Beauty and the Beast

To bring an incredibly fun New Year's weekend to a perfect close, Steve and I attended the last performance of Beauty and the Beast at the Ordway Theater. It took some work for Steve to get the tickets - there was a little mix-up with the online box office. Ultimately, we saw the show from great seats for a discounted price. Beauty and the Beast now definitely ranks in my top 5 favorite theater productions.

We got in trouble for using our camera in the theater - even during intermission! But we were able to sneak in a few shots and only pretended to delete the pictures when they asked us to - such rebels, we are.

I probably should have dressed up a bit more, but I wore this to church and shopping earlier in the day, and just didn't feel like making an additional effort on a cold, Sunday evening. Underneath that scarf are some layered necklaces and a nifty little alteration to the bodice I made the night before. They made us put away the camera right after this shot, so didn't think about close-ups. Next time.

I just love your outfit! I really like how the muted brown on bottom looks with the bright colors.

I can't believe that you got in trouble for taking pictures of yourselves! I am glad you were able to sneakily save them. :)
