Awareness

Facebook tells me that it's Breast Cancer Awareness Day and it's time to wear pink.  What did we ever do without Facebook?  I ask you.  I would have had no color direction yesterday (or today), that's for certain.

For as much as I complain about my boobs and the grief they cause me (sigh), I wouldn't want to be without them.  I am thankful for my health, boobs included.  I do my best to pay attention to them and make sure nothing is out of the ordinary.  I also get 'the girls' checked out at my annual physical.  At one point, my doctor did have a minor concern and had me go in for a booby-ultrasound to be 100% sure that all was well.  All was.  And once again, I am grateful.

Awareness is good, friends.  Don't ignore.  Be aware.

Since I typically take my outfit pictures in the evening and post in the afternoon of the following day, I knew I was going to have to wear pink two days in a row if I was going to both post and wear pink on Breast Cancer Awareness Day.    It's no problem.  I love pink.  I especially love this pink, houndstooth cardigan.

Fair warning:  expect another pink outfit in the near future.  Maybe even tomorrow.

So these new boots of mine...they don't photograph well.  Kinda looks like I'm struttin' garbage bags on my legs.  Who knows...maybe I'll start a new trend?  I like them (in real life), but still not positive about keeping them.

Shh.  Wait.  Listen.  Hear that?  I'd know that sound anywhere.  It's DSW calling my name...

I like my boobs, too. And I complain about them all the time. But I'm thankful that they're here and healthy and fed a baby (and will hopefully feed another someday).

LOVE this outfit. I'm kind of sold on your boots. They're pretty hot. And I love the edginess of the boots/tights with the sweetness of the plaid and houndstooth. :)

I didn't know it was Breast Cancer Awareness day. I like the pattern mix, and the tights are great.

I stopped complaining about my boobs, I used to think they were too big but, now I'm ok with it.

I love the cardi and those tights amazing!
