The Bow Tie

This is the bow tie I bought at Cat's Pajama's.  Ok, so I know I said I was "excited to style (it) in smart, unexpected ways".  This may be smart, but definitely not unexpected.  How else do you style a bow tie?   I have other ideas...promise.

I picked this particular bow tie out because it's very gender-neutral.   Steve and I can share it (if he wants to).  For me, it's very Geek Chic / Prep School Fabulous.  I wish I had a pair of fake glasses to complete the look.

Bow Tie:  Vintage via Cat's Pajama's
Shirt:  Express
Skirt:  Target
Tights:  Old Navy
Shoes:  DSW

TRIPLE love the bowtie- and the whole look. You look super smart chic. :) And I can't wait to see some other styling ideas. I think it would be adorable on a ribbon belt or in your hair!

So cute! And you are so brave for experimenting with your fashion, you pulled it off!! I have a cumberbund that I have been wanting to style but I've been too chicken.
