Vintage Show

Friday night, the girlfriends and I attended Cat's Pajama's Vintage Clothing & Jewelry Show in St. Paul.  Elaina and I received a $1 off admission for wearing vintage items:

Me:
Hat:  Anthroplogie, on loan from Elaina's Closet
Dress:  Vintage via Mighty Swell
Boots:  Madden Girl
Bag:  thrifted via ARC's Value Village
Jacket:  Wilson's Leather, gift from Stevie

E:
Hat, Vest, Dress:  Vintage, thrifted
Bracelet (right arm):  Vintage, her grandma's
Tights:  Target
Boots: Jessica Simpson via Macy's
Bag:  Patina, gift from her mama

The show was a vintage-lovers dream.  I was a wee bit overwhelmed, to be entirely honest.  I wandered around in circles in search of a vintage piece that I couldn't live without.  I found a few gasp-worthy items that (unfortunately) were not my size.

I finally gave up my search for vintage clothing and moved on to accessories which were in great abundance.  Jewelry, purses, hats, gloves, shoes...you name it.  My wanderings finally led me to men's bow ties for $5 (the clip kind).  I'm very excited to style my little purchase in smart, unexpected ways.

Didn't make to Cat's Pajamas this time?  Looks like they'll be in Illinois in February and back to the Twin Cities in June 2011!

I went to the show on Saturday. It was a little overwhelming. I got a sweater and I wanted to find a hat, but my head is too big for all the cute vintage hats.
