I Sniff You

Since Saturday is the only day of the week when anything goes, I often try to wear something that absolutely would not fly at work or church.  (Well, this could fly at church, I just wouldn't let it.)  I had taken note of Geisha Pearl's recent winter cut-offs look and thought this is exactly why I did NOT put my shorts in storage with the rest of the summer clothes - must try.  And so I did.

Miles started Intermediate Dog Training on Saturday and met a few new friends.  He really hit if off with a darling black/white Boston named Eddy. Then while shopping, he met Bella - a stout, caramel-colored Frenchie.  I sniff you, you sniff me...

Miles is becoming such a little lover and smart...oh, so smart.  He has started identifying some of his toys.  If we say "Bring the duck" or "fish" or "ball", he goes and finds the exact toy.  For this next training course, we'll be working on "Leave It", "Heal", and loose-leash walking...all of which we struggle to enforce at our house.  (I say "we", but  really mean "me", because I'm the push-over and the pooch knows it).

I have also been trying to get him to say "Mama", but that's not going as well as I hoped.

That outfit is adorable. I love it!

As is your doggy.

My doggy (AmStaff) once got kicked out of daycare. But that was when he was a wee puppy. He's perfect (ha!) now and everyone loves him (double ha!).

Seriously - when I do bring Georgie to playclubs he always seeks out a doggy just like him. I think that's interesting how like wants to play with like.

Your legwarmers are darling! I admire your bravery for wearing shorts in the winter!

How precious is Miles? I really like this casual look. If I had cut off denim shorts and leg warmers as cute as those, I would be copying this outfit!

I love the cutoff look with tights. I might need to take the scissors a pair of jeans. Despite the fact that your legs are being broken up by all these pieces (boots, legwarmers, shorts) they look miles and miles long!

Doggy training is so much fun. Our boys are pretty good with leave it and stay, but heeling... Yeah, I kind of let them run amok.

You look so cute! I've been working overtime on Saturdays and have tried my best to dress as grubby as possible (and have succeeded). You way outdressed me. Your legwarmers are great!

We taught our dog to say "I love you" back to us when he was a bay and he was SO good at it, and then he got older and now he just makes a face at you when you try to get him to do it. Teenagers. Ugh.

You are Claire are all twin-ed out today. I love it! And it makes me all itchy to go home and throw my shorts on, I need to document my weekend better. The shorts + tights + thigh high combo is basically my favorite thing of ever!

You and Claire are making me want to pull out my shorts and tall socks, but my shorts are all packed away.

You so need to rock the suspenders my dear. I loosened mine so that they didn't 'pull' on my lady friends (not that I have any). Also, if you hooked the front part really far apart, then they would simply fall naturally to the side and it wouldn't look like your 'ladies' pushed them to the side. Problem solved!
