Greenie, Day 1: Summer Camp

Good Morning, friends!  This week is all about this green dress.  I'll be styling it 4 different ways throughout the week and on Friday you can enter to win your very own.  Sound good?  I thought so.

This weekend was full o' fun.  Friday night Steve and I went to the premier showing of Thou Shalt Laugh 5.  Comedian Joey I.L.O is a good friend of ours and we love to support his hilarious endeavors.  Joey kicks off the show followed by well-known stand-ups Leland Klassen, Bone Hampton, Daren Streblow, Gilbert Esquivel, and Taylor Mason.  Chonda Pierce hosts.  Aside from Joey, Taylor Mason is my fave.  Sassy puppets make me laugh.  The DVD will be in stores on Father's Day.  My father, father-in-law, and grand father-in-law will be receiving one.

I scurried out the door early Saturday morning to hit the neighborhood garage sales in South Minneapolis with a couple girlfriends.  I met two birds, who are ever-so lovely.  Then stopped by Mighty Swell's sidewalk sale.  I adore Meghan and always find the best vintage treasures there.  Afterward, more shopping and eating ensued.

Flash pictures are a real bummer, but I couldn't let another outfit picture go by without sharing the latest, greatest headband trend.  My friend Greyley makes them.  As soon as I cut my hair I new it was time to stock up.  So I bought 3.  I'm prone to headaches, so I'm very careful about headbands, but these don't pinch at all.

Greyley is 12 (going on 25) and school just let out for the summer - yippeee!  She's on a mission to raise some moola for church summer camp and is selling these via her mama's blog Girly Muse.  Get 'em while they're HOT!
