For work, I throw on whatever is clean and doesn't require ironing. Then when I get home, it's straight for my super-distressed jeans and a t-shirt. I'd say that I'm tired, but that is also a bad excuse. Seriously, who isn't tired?
If I were to be completely honest, I'd say that my proverbial wheels have been spinning in several areas of my life. Effort without progress is tiresome. It's time to either get out and walk or call a tow truck. Not sure what action either of those things represent, but maybe you know what I mean...
All that to say, what I wear often reflects other areas of my life. It's not particularly bad. On the contrary, I'm quite optimistic. I'm just not the type to stand still or wait. The choices are forward motion or complete melt-down. Or a road trip. Road trips can cure me of anything temporarily.
Thankfully, I know from past experience that just before the melt-down, the mud will dry, the wheels with kick into gear and I'll jolt forward. There will be whiplash.

Whoa...thanks for reading my nonsensical little tangent. I'm all better now. Happy Friday.

i hope everything is ok! if it's any consolation, you look pretty darn cute! love your homemade pin!
Love the outfit. Tell me, though, what is the midwestern corporate casual uniform?
Well, you look adorable! I'm constantly wondering why we are all such busy bees, this human race? It makes us all tired and not truly enjoying life enough.
I hear ya. I've been uber stressed and run ragged lately too. That sometimes gives styling a back seat in life. Luckily, though, you have nailed the style part. I think this is uber cute! I love the booties. I hope things start looking up/calming down for you soon. Thanks for sharing with us. I know I don't know you, but if you ever just need to vent, you can email me. I won't judge.
I'm kinda in the same boat. Started a new job that's all about emergencies so everyone around me is in crisis mode--- all the time.
Sounds like you feel a bit stuck in addition to too busy. Never a fun place to be.
If it's any consolation, I think you look great in the photo and I love the shoe-booties. They're glam.
